We build project teams that combine internal specialists with trusted partners who know our standards and deliver with consistency across residential, commercial and mixed-use developments.

Dax Love | Founder

With over 33 years in the building industry and three generations of construction in his blood, Dax Love brings a rare depth of practical experience to every inspection. As the founder of Waratah Consulting, he leads the Building Inspections division with a focus on quality assurance, defect prevention, and compliance across all stages of the development lifecycle.

Dax has conducted thousands of inspections across NSW, ranging from early-stage quality assurance to final defect reporting under the Strata Building Bond and Inspections Scheme (SBBIS). He is trusted for his clear communication, attention to detail, and ability to identify and resolve issues before they escalate — safeguarding reputations and supporting successful handovers.

A qualified builder and waterproofing specialist, Dax is accredited with the Australian Society of Building Consultants and has provided expert witness and technical reporting across Class 1 and Class 2 projects. His bilingual English–Mandarin skills further support client relationships in NSW’s diverse development landscape.

At Waratah, Dax continues to lead from the front — combining technical rigour with a hands-on, outcome-driven approach that defines the Waratah Way.
